Rajneesh Vig , Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Vig serves as BlackRock TCP Capital Corp’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and is a member of Blackrock's Global Credit Platform.

Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Vig was a Managing Partner at Tennenbaum Capital Partners (TCP), where he was also Chairman of the Investment Committee and a member of the Management Committee. Prior to TCP, Mr. Vig held roles within Investment Banking, Debt Capital Markets and the Structured Solutions Group at Deutsche Bank Securities from 1999 through 2006.

He currently chairs Blackrock Private Credit's Investment Committee and is a member of the Credit Oversight Committee. He also serves on the Los Angeles Board of the Posse Foundation.

Philip Tseng, President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Tseng serves as BlackRock TCP Capital Corp’s President and Chief Operating Officer and is a member of Blackrock's Global Credit Platform.

Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Tseng was a Managing Partner at Tennenbaum Capital Partners (TCP), where he was also a member of the Management Committee. Prior to joining TCP, Mr. Tseng was a member of the Credit Suisse First Boston technology investment banking group focusing on technology and business services. While at CSFB, he advised on and executed M&A, public and private equity and structured debt transactions for a broad range of small and large cap companies. He also spent time covering technology services companies as an equity research analyst. Prior to that, he spent time in investment banking at Deutsche Banc Alex Brown. Mr. Tseng currently serves as a Director on the board of the California Science Center Foundation, and previously served as a Director on the boards of First Advantage, Connexity Inc., and Anacomp, Inc.

Erik L. Cuellar , Chief Financial Officer

Erik L. Cuellar serves as Chief Financial Officer for BlackRock TCP Capital Corp. and is a member of Blackrock's Global Credit Platform.

Mr. Cuellar joined BlackRock in 2018 following the acquisition of Tennenbaum Capital Partners, LLC. Prior to joining TCP in 2011, Mr. Cuellar served as Controller for Ares Capital Corporation. Prior to that, Mr. Cuellar was with Metropolitan West Asset Management where he served as the Assistant Treasurer and Principal Accounting Officer for the Metropolitan West Funds. Prior to that, Mr. Cuellar managed the Alternative Investments Group at Western Asset Management Company. Mr. Cuellar began his career with Deloitte & Touche LLP where he was a Senior Auditor in their Financial Services Group.

Laurence D. Paredes, General Counsel & Secretary

Laurence D. Paredes serves as General Counsel & Secretary of BlackRock TCP Capital Corp. and is a member of BlackRock's Legal and Compliance team.

Prior to joining BlackRock in 2008, Mr. Paredes served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Porter Novelli, Inc., an Omnicom Group Inc. agency and a global public relations firm with 17 North American offices and a network of nearly 100 international offices. Before joining Porter Novelli, Inc., Mr. Paredes was with the law firms of Spitzer & Feldman P.C. and Beckman, Millman & Sanders LLP, where he practiced corporate, securities and investment management law.

Mr. Paredes is admitted to the Bars of the States of New York, Connecticut and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He has served as a Trustee of the Rye Country Day School, as well as President of the Rye Country Day School Alumni Executive Board.

Charles Park, Chief Compliance Officer

Mr. Park is the Chief Compliance Officer to BlackRock’s U.S. Registered Funds (Mutual Funds, Closed-End Funds, and iShares Exchange-Traded Funds) and its US-based registered investment advisers. Mr. Park became a Managing Director of BlackRock following the merger of Barclays Global Investors (“BGI”) with BlackRock in 2009 (the “Merger”). Prior to the Merger, from 2006, he served as Chief Compliance Officer to BGI’s Mutual Funds and iShares Exchange-Traded Funds and their registered investment adviser, Barclays Global Fund Advisors. Prior to joining BGI, Mr. Park was employed by American Century Investments where he served as Chief Compliance Officer from 2004 to 2006 and as Counsel from 1995 to 2004.

Rob DiPaolo, Managing Director

Rob DiPaolo, Managing Director, is a member of Blackrock's Global Credit Platform. He is a Portfolio Manager/Research Analyst focused on middle market performing loans and special situations largely in the US. Mr. DiPaolo heads industry coverage for building products, transportation, industrial services, agriculture and engineering and construction. He has been at BlackRock and its predecessor, Tennenbaum Capital Partners, since 1999. Prior to his current role, Mr. DiPaolo was the firm's Chief Financial Officer and was responsible for building Tennenbaum's financial reporting, processes and controls and operating infrastructure.

Jason Mehring, Managing Director

Jason Mehring, Managing Director, is a member of BlackRock's Global Credit Platform. Mr. Mehring focuses on the team's origination, underwriting and monitoring of middle market private investments. Jason has over 28 years' experience in middle market investing including his 17 years' experience with BlackRock's US Private Capital team. Mr. Mehring previously spent more than ten years at Banc of America Capital Investors (BACI), an affiliate of Bank of America, Inc., in Chicago, where he held positions of increasing responsibility, becoming a Principal of the firm in 2000. At BACI, Mr. Mehring focused on mezzanine and private equity investing in middle market companies. Prior to joining BACI in 1994, he worked at Firstar Bank, a predecessor to U.S. Bank.

Dan Worrell, Managing Director

Dan Worrell, Managing Director, is a member of Blackrock's Global Credit Platform, where he focuses on direct lending and special situation strategies. He is a member of US Private Capital's (USPC) Management Operating Committee and the head of USPC's Underwriting Committee. Mr. Worrell is a voting committee member of US Private Capital (USPC). He is also on the investment committees for Global Credit Opportunities Funds I and II (GCO). He currently serves as a Director on the Board of Icelandic Glacial, and previously on Cognate BioServices, Inc. Mr. Worrell joined BlackRock through the acquisition of TCP Capital, which managed more than $9 billion in committed capital when it was acquired by BlackRock in 2018.

At TCP, Mr. Worrell was a Managing Director and a voting member of its investment committee. He was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, structuring, and executing private debt and equity investments. He led several industry verticals including Healthcare, Consumer Brands, Retail, and Specialty Finance.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Worrell was a High Yield Portfolio Manager with Mulholland Capital Advisors, where he analyzed and invested in high yield credit opportunities, capital structure arbitrage and special situations. He has also previously invested in distressed companies and special situations at Gruss Partners, JP Morgan and as an Investment Manager at a Central Asia-focused private equity fund based in Kazakhstan.
